May the fourth be with you…

My Star Wars day hasn’t really been that different this year. I’ve watched two and half Star Wars films, the third will finish just before bed. I treated myself to some goodies, wore a Star Wars t-shirt and my Star Wars pyjama bottoms and had a lovely day, as I always do, amongst one of my favourite things.

But this year is different, there’s a war going on outside my walls, one being fought by nurses, doctors, scientists, our forces, people delivering food and countless other people working tirelessly to bring peace back to our world.

To me Star Wars has always been about hope and love and we are seeing those values come out across our nations in abundance. It’s incredible to see everyone coming together to fight.

I’m so proud of the frontline staff across the world fighting for this Galaxy. How lucky we are.

Today amidst the sadness there was joy in the Star Wars community and as is tradition greetings were sent over the world. These were two of my favourites.

May the force be with you… always.
